Thanks for all the inquires about last night’s knife course at Cookworks (1548 West Broadway, Vancouver BC). I’m just finishing up getting some information from management and I’ll be submitting my full post here on our experience. Both Paul and I attended as we have shopped at their stores before as well as their competitors, Ming Wo (who offer the Hanging Pig an industry discount which is greatly appreciated). Check back Monday when I will have a full review of the class, our experience, and the Shun knife that they demonstrated and included in the registration.

I don’t like their online registration system. I tried to sign up for a 1/2 hour and couldn’t get it to work. They should invest in some technology if they are offering registrations online. They do have some great stuff in there, but I’m a bit pissed off.
Everyone take a breath. I think they are trying their best. I’ll bring up the concerns in the piece and share it with their management. As a business owner myself, sometimes you need to work out the kinks with new things. Back with more on Monday or before.
